JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Badai tropis Kaitak sempat menerjang Filipina pada Rabu (15/8/2012) dan mengakibatkan dua orang tewas. Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) mengajak masyarakat Indonesia untuk mewaspadai dampak badai tropis tersebut di Indonesia.

Hasil analisis Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) menyatakan bahwa hingga kamis (16/8/2012) pukul 07.00 WIB, posisi siklon tropis ada di 19 derajat Lintang Utara (LU) dan 117,1 derajat Bujur Timur (BT) atau kurang lebih 1.750 km utara Tarakan. Sikon diperkirakan akan bergerak ke arah barat menjauhi wilayah Indonesia dengan kecepatan 12 knots (22 km/jam). Kecepatang angin maksimumnya 60 knots atau 110 km/jam. Tekanan terendah mencapai 975 milibar (mb).

Pada 24 jam ke depan, Jumat (17/8/2012), siklon diperkirakan berada di 20,7 LU dan 112 BT atau sekitar 2.020 km sebelah utara barat laut Tarakan. Siklon tetap bergerak menjauhi wilayah Indonesia dengan kecepatan gerak angin maksimum diperkirakan 110 km/jam.

Meski siklon bergerak menjauhi wilayah Indonesia, Sutopo Purwo Nugroho dari BNPB mengajak masyarakat Indonesia untuk mewaspadai dampak siklon tersebut. Hal itu dikarenakan siklon tetap dapat memengaruhi cuaca indonesia.

Lewat pesan singkat hari ini, Sutopo mengatakan, "Hujan dengan intensitas ringan-sedang dapat terjadi di Banda Aceh, Sumatera Utara, Riau, Kalimantan Barat bagian utara, Kalimantan Timur bagian utara, Sulawesi Utara bagian timur, dan Maluku Utara."

Sementara itu, siklon juga dapat mengakibatkan kenaikan gelombang hingga 2-3 meter di Laut Natuna, Perairan timur Kepulauan Riau, Selat Gelasa, perairan Pulau Belitung, Selat Karimata, serta ombak setinggi 3-4 meter di Laut Cina Selatan timur Vietnam.

Jakarta, KompasOtomotif - PT Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI) menanggapi aksi unjuk rasa yang mengatasnamakan Lembaga Pengawas Industri dan Perdagangan (LPIP), di depan kantornya di MT Haryono, Jatinegara, Jakarta Timur, kemarin siang (14/8) dengan mengatakan,memang telah terjadi kampanye perbaikan massal (recall) terhadap Juke pada Februari lalu.

Namun Juke yang di-recall  tersebut mengunakan mesin MR16DDT, 1600 cc dengan turbo. Sumber gangguan adalah sensor tekanan rel bahan bakar pada mesin yang menggunakan sitem injeksi langsung. 

Sementara unit yang dijual di Indonesia menggunakan HR15DE dberkapasitas 1.500 cc tanpa turbo dan bukan injeksi langsung. Tipe mesin tersebut juga terdaftar di lembaga pemerintah dan telah melalui serangkaian uji tipe ketat oleh otoritas atau instansi terkait.

Karena itulah Nissan tidak melakukan recall terhadap Juke yang dijual di Indonesia. Alasannya, spesifikasi yang menjadi subyek tidak terdapat  pada Jukeyang dijual, termasuk yang dikendarai oleh Olivia pada 10/3 lalu.

Disebutkan pula, Nissan tidak pernah menutupi atau melakukan kebohongan terkait hal ini. "Di industri otomotif, recall adalah hal yang  lumrah dan dilakukan secara transparan. Semua demi kepentingan konsumen dan kredibilitas produsen," jelas Nissan Motor Indonesia menanggap tentang demo tersebut.
